Shipping policy
Getting your order to you
Every demulcere order is packed with care and shipped from Toronto, Ontario.
We currently ship within Canada using Canada Post.
Order processing: Please allow 1–10 business days for your order to be made, packed, and shipped. Because demulcere products are made in small batches, your order may take a little time to get on its way.
Delivery: Once your package has been handed over to Canada Post, delivery time depends on your location and the shipping service selected at checkout.
For Canada Post Regular Parcel, estimated delivery times between most major urban centres are:
- Local: 1–3 business days
- Regional: 3–6 business days
- National: 4–10 business days
Remote and non-major urban centres may take longer. Canada Post's delivery standards are estimates and can be affected by weather, postal volume, and other circumstances.
If you need your order sooner, Express shipping is available at checkout for an additional cost.
Free tracked shipping on orders $59+
Orders of $59 or more after discounts and before tax qualify for free tracked shipping within Canada.
Your package will include a tracking number so you can follow its journey. Tracked shipping also includes up to $100 in coverage for loss or damage.
Local pickup
If you're in Toronto and would prefer to pick up your order, free local pickup is available in the Kensington Market area.
Enter code KENSINGTONPICKUP at checkout. You'll receive an email with pickup instructions once your order is ready.
A note about shipping addresses
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.
If an order can't be delivered because the address provided at checkout was incorrect or incomplete, any additional shipping costs to resend the package are the customer's responsibility.
Once your package has been handed over to Canada Post, delivery times are outside of my control. If your tracking information shows a delivery issue or your package appears to be delayed or missing, please reach out to me and I'll do my best to help.
International orders
Not in Canada? I'd be happy to see if I can ship to you.
Please email danielle@demulcere.com and I can create a custom draft order with the available shipping options.
International orders are subject to shipping costs, duties, taxes, and any other fees required by the destination country. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Package protection
We offer optional package protection through Navidium at checkout for a small additional fee.
If you choose package protection and something goes wrong with your delivery, such as loss or damage, your order may be eligible for replacement at no additional cost.
